Nicky Clarke

Since I can remember I have painted and been interested in my surroundings. My childhood memories are of the wonderful woodland surrounding my home near the New Forest in Hampshire. My earliest tutor was my father from whome I learnt more about art and observation, than any art school could have taught me, he too is an artist. I credit my upbringing for the artist I am today, my only real qualification is my heart which is where I paint from. If its a need, a passion and in your blood you will be an artist, thats all the credibillity I need. Enjoy my work, the viewers enjoyment is worth more than any acclaim. Nicky.x.

Studied at Southampton College of Art 1973-1976. Teaching:- Holds watercolour classes at the Meeting House, Ilminster. Magazine article for "Painting With Watercolour" on techniques with clingfilm and watercolour. 2005 Exhibited extensively in local area. Holds demonstrations for local art groups.
