Description

This painting has been part of my personal collection since I completed it. It was painted during an afternoon spent painting with friends and has many, happy memories. This intricate subject needed more than one afternoon to capture all the textures, shapes and tones and I used quick sketches and photographs to finish it over the next few weeks in my studio. Painted in oils on a prepared board measuring 15x13ins/38x33cm, it is presented in its original, bespoke frame as found. The overall measurements of the frame are 23x21x1ins/58x53x2.5cm. The gallery image has been watermarked in order to protect my copyright.
