Description

These roses were picked from a friend’s garden especially for a painting demonstration. I enjoyed painting them so much that I spent another session in my studio in order to achieve the finish I desired. Painted in oils on a 16x13x1.0ins stretched canvas and carefully primed, the work is presented in a fine gilded wooden frame. The illustration in the Gallery is of the image only in order to show the detail of the painting. A photograph of the painting complete in the frame is available. The gallery image has been watermarked in order to protect my copyright
