Description

This compact oil on board is designed to hang unframed and depicts one of the fishing huts typical of the Charente Maritime area of France. They perch on tall wooden structures that extend into the sea when the tide is in. Some are available for hire but most are owned by local fishermen who spend all day in them, often with their families.
