I was fascinated by the facets and holes on this flint-stone I picked up at Sidmouth.

In my stone-studies I look deeply into the patterns on sea-shore stones. Everyone sees different meanings in the resulting images. So each viewer is collaborating with me by adding their own interpretation.

For this painting I used acrylics on paper, which I later stuck onto board so it wouldn’t need glass.

Frame: This picture is mounted, and framed in a hand-coloured frame (without glass).
