These fruit and vegetables were caught by the camera almost as soon as they were pulled out of the kitchen garden or shaken from the trees. In the studio the harvest was left to settle in with whatever else was tipped onto the bench. All very informal and random. Limes settled in with redcurrents; fruit and veg tend to emerge from the dark into gentle misty dawn; not sharp studio lights
