Your biography is an outline of the story of your life, not so much your art, but YOU. When and where you were born. Are any of your family artists? How and where did you grow up? What led you to be an artist?
Some artists do not want to share personal information with the public. How much you share is up to you. The purpose of the artist’s biography is to help the artist make a human connection with potential buyers as people like to know about you.
