My art is abstract, naive, decorative or free style and I seldom plan my paintings beforehand. I start by creating a background using the palette knives or various materials such as newspaper cuts, fabric or tissues and then I create the paintings using my imagination, my personal interpretation of the world around me or the notes and sketches I make in my walks. I paint mainly in acrylic as I like the thickness of it but I also use oils, crayons and ink.
