He began painting in his teens, spent many years at creative studios and advertising agencies in this country and abroad. It is probably this variety of lifestyle that prompted him to tackle unusual and interesting projects.
His recent activities involve pieces of uncultivated land, kindly lent to him by farmers, that allow him to follow the seasons throughout the year, to capture the colour and development that entails. This selection is only part of what he paints. His oveseas work covers India, South America, the Arctic, Central Asia and China. His style tends to be tradional, showing nature, albeit slightly impressionistically, as it is. Prints are available to order. Commisions Accepted
Books include one for 'International Artist', 'Pen and Wash' for Search Press and numerous inclusions and articles. Cube 3 Gallery, part of the University of Plymouth, showed over a hundred works in his solo exhibition 'Designs on the landscape' in 2007.
