Timmy Mallett

Timmy Mallett - West Country Galleries welcomes TV broadcaster and presenter Timmy Mallett. He has recently appeared on our screens in ‘I’m a celebrity …get me out of here’. He attained cult status in the 1980’s with his children’s TV show Wacaday.

Timmy's love of painting stems from when he studied History of Art as part of his degree course at the University of Warwick and his work is as versatile and colourful as his personality.

Timmy paints mainly in acrylics, and will reach for his 'Mallett's Pallette' at the drop of a brush. He is an extremely talented artist who takes his inspiration from this country, and from trips all over the world. His many and varied paintings glow with colour.

He lives near Oxford with wife Lynda and son Billy and many of his colourful landscapes are inspired by local scenes.

Timmy Mallet's work can be seen on West Country Galleries. Timmy enjoys a passion for art with his good friend and fellow artist Rolf Harris.
