I am a 27 year old abstract artist born and living currently in Devon, UK. I believe abstract art is the trans-location of an intangible energy, whether it be a thought form, emotion or Quantum phenomena, into an aesthetic representational presentation. My work is highly textured and consists usually of 3-7 layers on the composition. I use a wide range of tool to achieve my artistic intention, including, knives, forks, a machete, sponges, towels, paint brushes and needles. The development of my style has taken three years to come to fruition. I focus primarily upon the ephemeral energy of a piece, molding a seemingly chaotic palate into a cohesive, greater sense of overriding harmony utilizing shape, form and shade to emphasize the essence of my work. My influences include Pollock, Miro, Rothco, Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali and De Kooning.

I have recently moved into the realm of professional painting and have exhibited and sold my work in a variety of galleries in my local area of East Devon. I have been a part of the Exmouth Contemporary exhibition this past spring and have been involved in the Phoenix Contemporary Art competition in Exeter. I was invited to join a psychic art sales site by a fellow artist which is currently in progress and have received very positive responses from people who have viewed my work, garnering comparisons to the likes of Pollock and Monet. I currently have two exhibitions booked this summer in Sidmouth Devon; 30th July-5th August and 13th - 20th August. My first solo exhibition will now be at the Grapevine wine bar from 4th September to 9th October. I have also recently been accepted by an international art curator who is aligning me with various exhibitions in Paris and New York.
